How a good plot saves the game

I spent many hours having fun with friends in the games of the Battlefield series. But back to Jubisoft again, and more specifically to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. This is a game with an incredibly big and beautiful world. Many regions, unique underwater locations, sea battles, quite a pleasant fighting and tolerable pumping. But having all these advantages, this game is even close to the top of the third witcher. And the fault of everything is poorly designed, the most important plot. Add a cool story to the Odyssey, turn all the additional quests from routine grind into exciting and intriguing adventures. And it would be a great game. But, unfortunately, Jubisoft does not want to bother with this, and perhaps they just have a different vision of a good game. But most likely the first, because one day they got confused and released, in my opinion, their best game - Valiant Hearts.
